What BSDPA is doing to keep our Dancers and Families safe during a global Pandemic.

  • We have added medical grade air purifiers in each studio.

  • Our waiting area and hallway are currently open. However, we will close our waiting area for parents of dancers 6+ if we need to social distance.

  • We are offering in-person (studio) but virtual classes are available for students who need to quarantine or are home sick.

  • Hand Sanitizing stations are set up in all studios, waiting area and entrance.

  • Signage to promote hand sanitizing and social distancing in common areas and studios.

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing studio and props in between each class.

  • N95 masks have been provided to ALL instructors and disposal masks can be given to students upon request.

What you can do to help us

  • ALL dancers MUST stay home if they are feeling sick. Symptoms include:

    ● Fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
    ●Dry cough
    ●Shortness of Breath
    ●Chills
    ●Loss of taste or smell
    ●Sore Throat
    ●Muscle aches

While many of these symptoms might be non-COVID-19 symptoms we are proceeding with by assuming they are Covid-19 during this Public Health Emergency. These symptoms typically appear 2-7 days after being infected so please take them seriously. You will need to be symptom free for 72 hours before returning to the facility.

  • If other members of your family are sick or have come in contact with someone positive or presumed positive for COVID-19, your dancer MUST stay home, even if they aren’t showing any symptoms. Your dancer will have the option to take their class virtually.

  • Dancers and accompanying family member must wear face coverings.

  • Follow our BSDPA guidelines and protocols to promote a healthy environment for all. Please visit our Policies Tab for additional Information.

Please remember this is temporary and bsdpa will adjust all protocols to comply with nys and local healthy and safety guidelines.
