Leah Brady (Director) - A former BSDPA alum, Leah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Kent State University in 2008. While at Kent, Leah performed in works by Cliff Keuter, Kimberly Karpanty, Kora Radella, Gina Kohler and other various choreographers. Leah was also honored to have a featured role in American modern dance pioneer, May O'Donnell's historical work, Suspension (1943), reconstructed and staged by Barbara Allegra Verlezza and Sabatino Verlezza. Upon graduation, Leah furthered her professional career with Project606 in Chicago, Illinois, a Modern Dance Company, for three years.
Kiana Cotton - An alumna of BSDPA, Kiana has been dancing for fifteen years and remained actively involved at the studio. She was an assistant teacher, intern, as well as a substitute teacher. Kiana graduated from Genesee Community College with an Associates in Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2019. During her time there, she performed in multiple dance showcases as well as captained the Dance Team. Kiana is currently a student at SUNY Brockport where she is pursuing a BA in Dance. She looks forward to starting her new position here at BSDPA.
Kamryn Farrell - Kamryn has been dancing for seventeen years starting near her hometown of Bainbridge N.Y. She has been teaching various styles of dance to ages 2-17 for three years now. Kamryn is a student at SUNY Brockport where she is working towards a BA in arts for children as well as a BFA in dance. She also performs on the Brockport dance team along with performing in many shows with the dance department throughout the year. Kamryn also currently works for the company Step Up 2 Dance where she assists at conventions and competitions. She is excited to continue her teaching journey at BSDPA!
Kathy Rubenacker - An alumna of BSDPA, Kathy received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from SUNY Potsdam in 2019. While at Potsdam, Kathy performed in 18 various faculty and student works as well as a mainstage theatre production. She was honored to represent her school three years in a row as a dancer at the American College Dance Association. Kathy is well versed in teaching and choreographing modern, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, hip hop, contemporary, and more. She is very excited to be returning to teach at BSDPA!
Stephanie Tozer - An alumna of BSDPA, Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Arts for Children in May of 2012. Stephanie then continued her studies at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf/Rochester Technical Institute and received her Bachelor of Science in American Sign Language/English Interpreting. Stephanie has been an instructor at BSDPA since 2008, where she has taught various ages and forms of dance.
